The course focuses on understanding common imbalances, optimizing scapular alignment, and selecting appropriate mobility and strengthening progressions. You will gain practical strategies for integrating Pilates exercises to support efficient shoulder function in both rehabilitation and performance-focused settings.

Workshop Curriculum
This 2 hours workshop is structured across three focused learning blocks:
Session 1 — Foundation (30 minutes)
- Scapular-humeral rhythm
- mobility, load, stability, and proprioceptive demand

- Types of cues: anatomical, imagery, action, and tactile
Session 2 — Applied Practice - Shoulder Mobility (75 minutes)
- Close chain vs Open chain. Alignment
- Exercise progressions
- Partner cueing rounds with structured feedback
Session 3 — Applied Practice - Shoulder Stability (75 minutes)

Your Instructor
Natalia Rabin
Natalia Rabin is a highly skilled Pilates professional specializing in training fellow teachers. With over six years of experience collaborating with physiotherapy clinic, she has introduced Pilates-based movements to new physiotherapists and developed workshops to broaden the use of Pilates in physiotherapy. As a Clinical Pilates Educator, Natalia plays an essential role in providing valuable insights to create personalized Pilates exercise programs for clinic patients. She works closely with physiotherapy specialists and other rehabilitative professionals, integrating customized Pilates programs into a holistic, movement-based treatment plan for clients.
In addition to her Pilates expertise, Natalia is trained in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), which enhances her understanding of the diagnostic methods used by other healthcare professionals, including registered physiotherapists, osteopaths, and those who focus on movement-based assessments. Her long-term goal is to leverage her knowledge of body movement to develop an integrated, interdisciplinary program that promotes physical self-awareness addressing chronic imbalances and helping clients overcome pain, regain full mobility, and optimal physical function.
